The doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:15pm start; you should arrive on time and hungry for both comedy and food. This Thursday, October 19 at the Redback Brewery, 75 Flemington Road, North Melbourne. ASC members $10, non-members $14, and students $8. Tickets at the door.
A second opinion
Science-ology may be over, but that doesn’t mean I’ve nothing to say! Check out the new review over at Buzzcuts. Here’s an excerpt:
“…rock n’ roll in a test tube. … Conducted lecture style with visuals, this university has been exceedingly well prepared. … Science-ology is the third Man in the Lab Coat show and now I wish I’d seen the first two. McKenzie manages to cover complex subject matter without dumbing it down and ensures his audience is in for a full 60 mins of laughter and education.” – Kate Nicholson, Buzzcuts
Don’t despair if you missed the show; Science-ology will be back. Watch this space (and the soon to be improved benmckenzie.com.au) for info.
Science-ology rocks!
The first review is in; check out what the Groggy Squirrel thought of . In brief:
“Science-ology Rocks! … If you are a science geek, this is a must, but even if you only have a passing interest this show is heaps of fun and full of lovely laughs. Ben is an experienced confident performer and a great storyteller. … Highly recommended.” – Lisa Clark, Groggy Squirrel issue 37
There are still four shows left, Wednesday October 4 to Saturday October 7. Get on down to Glitch Bar + Cinema and join the rock and roll science evolution!
Science-ology is a hoot
Science-ology continues next week, but if you’re wondering if it’s any good, Dr. Andi of 3RRR‘s Einstein A Go Go says it’s “A fabulous show…an absolute hoot.” What more reason do you need? Get down to Glitch Bar next week, Wednesday to Saturday! And don’t forget you can also catch the Man in Theatre in Decay’s The Taking of Ramsey Street, which opened on Friday.
