Hot off the press!

Happy birthday to me! What could be a better birthday present than being on stage in my first ever Comedy Festival? Well, not much. The show opened with a bang on Wednesday, and now the first press has appeared.

There’s a brief mention in “Hail the stage for the wackier wackos“, an article in The Age about Comedy @ Trades, and the Groggy Squirrel, Melbourne’s online comedy magazine, has posted the first review.

Watch out for more Man in the Lab Coat, with an interview in Inpress, and some more reviews later this week.

The Night of Nights

Yes, it’s the opening night of the 2007 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and one of the many shows to premiere tonight is, of course, [intlink id=”51″ type=”page”]Science-ology[/intlink]. Tickets are selling quite well, but while there are lots of seats left, remember that only 30 people can come on any particular night – so book in with Comedy@Trades to avoid disappointment! See you at the show…

Podcast Madness!

The Comedy Festival debut of [intlink id=”51″ type=”page”]Science-ology[/intlink] is only days away, and in the lead-up to Comedy Festival 2007, you can hear the Man in the Lab Coat on Planet Radio‘s brilliant A Climate Affair programme, podcast across the Internet – including some ticket giveaways to the first week. Plus, listeners of the great Mr Science Show podcast can also get their hands on some tickets to the opening night – if they get in quick!

the Man in the Lab Coat is everywhere…

As well as performing , and appearing in Impro Sundae, Instant Order: Trial by Audience and Triple Trouble with the Crew, Ben is also caught mid-applause in a photo on the box of the special Comedy Festival edition deck of Bar Secrets cards, revealing all the best venues and post-show hangouts. If you’ve always wanted a scientician in your pocket, now’s your chance.
