I love audio as a medium, so I got into podcasts relatively early. Not back at the dawn of podcasting, in the Coffee Notes and Robin Williams has a talk show on Audible days, but before Serial made it a thing everyone did.

Now I work as a podcast host, producer and editor, and have also taught podcasting at Collarts, the Australian College of the Arts, where I also teach Writing Comedy for Audio as part of our Comedy Writing and Performing degree.

Current Podcasts

I’m currently co-host, producer and editor of the Terry Pratchett podcast Pratchat; producer and editor for literary genre discussion show Enough Trope; and editor for the Bridgerton recap and analysis podcast, What Would Danbury Do?

Older Podcasts

The first podcast I ever worked on was the long-running Australian television podcast Boxcutters, towards the end of its initial run. I appeared as a guest on a couple of episodes, talking about The Goodies and Doctor Who, and also spent a bit of time as an in-house live fact checker – something well ahead of its time in 2012! Soon afterwards I teamed up with Boxcutters’ John Richards to host and produce Splendid Chaps, the live Doctor Who anniversary podcast, with co-host Petra Elliott, and editor and audio engineer David Ashton. While that only lasted a year, it has returned every now and then, and spawned the time travel radio comedy series Night Terrace, and several other projects.

These are some of the past podcasts I’ve worked on, as either a host, producer, editor, or some combination of all three. You can also learn more about many of these, as well as Night Terrace, at Splendid Chaps Productions.

Guest Appearances

I’ve appeared as a guest on a fair few podcasts; you can see most of them at my entry on PodChaser.com.
